Constant Vigilance by carthasis Constant Vigilance by carthasis
June-August 2006, ink pens and pencils

The fourth (first in chronology) illustration for Something to Live For by Accio Snape. It can be found on this site.

I'm not really happy with it, but as I'm not someone who redraws finished stuff, it's gotta be like this.

"Mr. Potter," he said from right behind him, just as he put a spoonful of raw rather than distilled dandelion extract into his cauldron. "We are brewing a basic warming potion. Any first year could do it. We are not-" he picked up Harry's cauldron and flung it against the wall, to collective gasps from the class "I repeat, not trying to poison ourselves. Not in my class." His black eyes blazed with anger.

Ooh, I like. All of your characters seem to have this very dynamic feel to them, one can see them living and breathing. Well done.

That is FANTASTIC! I don't know what else I can say about this one that I haven't already said about the other drawings, but I think you did a great job with this series of drawings.
Your pencil work is fabulous, and I really do like the strategic use of ink. :)
